The annual new year ceremony.In Sri Lanka, the Sinhala Tamil new year is considered as a major event where individuals of the country believe the new year dawn day as the beginning of a year where they tend to engage with their important work schedule during the auspicious time on new year day. S & C celebrated its annual new year ceremony on 15/04/13 where the staff and the workers were given their new year special bonuses.
Devol madu shanthi karma.S&C Latex has an annual traditional devol madu shanthikarma at its premises. It is an ancient Sri Lankan traditional event which take place every year at S & C. Public tend to participate in this event having the belief, that these traditional events which relates to super natural forces enhance the wellbeing and prosperity of their lives and the village. They believed in gods and goddesses, these super natural forces give their protection to individual lives when organizing such events. These events basically enhance the relationship between the organization and the people(PR) therefore, it is a great opportunity for both parties to cooperate with each other.
